Eine Dahabeya ist ein traditionelles Nilsegelschiff ohne Motor. Die Dahabeya wurde ursprünglich für den Transport von Prominenten und Königsfamilien gebaut und war ein Luxus-Vergnügungsboot für den Nil.

Bis in die 1870er Jahre war die Dahabeya das übliche Kreuzfahrtschiff für Touristen, um den Nil hinauf und hinunter zu reisen.

Der Name bedeutet „Goldener“ und spielt auf die Gold- und Dongola-Dekoration an.

„Kemet“ bedeutet „Schwarzes Land“. Aus diesem Grund nannten die alten Ägypter Ägypten

die Fruchtbarkeit des Bodens rund um den Nil, der sehr dunkel und reichhaltig war.

„Kemet“ ist bestrebt, eine authentische, einzigartige Signatur des heutigen Ägypten zu sein, indem es alten Schiffsbau kombiniert, das klassische „Dahabeya“-Aussehen und -Feeling beibehält und gleichzeitig maritime Elemente, authentische ägyptische Möbel und Dekorationselemente mit einer Mischung aus modernem Kunststil, Farben und nützlichen Funktionen hinzufügt .

Our 5-nights cruise starts at the legendary city of Luxor, the ancient capital city of
